Collisions
Installation
As part of Scout—a student-driven design group—our team crafted this installation for Interventions: Collide, the latest installment in Scout's yearly Interventions design conference series.
Our objective throughout the conceptualization, drafting, and construction of this sculpture was to forge an experience that captures and concretizes the internal convergence of numerous design subfields, as well as the extensive interplay between design and myriad other disciplines.

Installation & Visual System
This hanging installation explores layering, transparency, and movement through modular graphic elements. Suspended components create shifting perspectives as viewers move through the space, emphasizing interaction, light, and visual rhythm.

Structure & Fabrication Process
Sketches and technical drawings document the development of the installation’s modular structure. Through iterative form studies and measurements, the design balances stability, repetition, and spatial flow, translating conceptual ideas into a buildable system.
